This Credit Union is a JOKE! My Car loan process was very simple. 4 months into my car loan i noticed that there was a force placed auto insurance on my loan because the bank failed to add my insurance info to the loan documents. Every time I called Brightstart their phones were either a busy signal or a recording that said that the line was disconnected. Other times I called I would wait on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes. After I finally got a hold of someone they told me that they person who handles the forced place insurance, there is only one person in the whole company and she was on vacation. I had to call their third party insurance company gave them my insurance information and at that point they removed the forced place auto insurance and admitted that the bank made an administrative error. Also there is this service called Courtesy Pay (overdraft protection) I declined that option and just wanted my card to decline if there were no funds available. One time I over drafted my account by .63 cents and they charged me 4 courtesy payments fees of $34. When I called and told them exactly who I spoke to and that the courtesy payment option was not suppose to be on on my account. They said that there was no record of that being declined, but they were happy to remove one of the courtesy payment fees. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK. Unless you like people playing games with your money. UPDATE: I have since sold this vehicle and the bank is still making my automatic payments even though the loan has been paid off. After spending 1 hour on hold I was told that the only way the bank can refund me my money is if I go in to a branch and speak to bank representative and REQUEST a refund.

Original Post (9/1/2017): Recently moved in during July of 2017. Apartment that I originally signed for was no longer available despite me having paid and signed for it. Was moved to a different apartment, in which the place was not ready for a tenant but I was unaware of that when I moved in. Repairs were performed in my place for the entire month of July. Disgruntled regarding this experience I have attempted to contact the office via email and cell phone as well as have been in conversations with corporate. However once you sign the least, the leasing office makes you no longer a priority as their main focus is moving new people into the apartments. Several things on the premises are constantly broken (pool, gates, etc.) as well as constant visits from the police to the property (fights, thefts, car damages, etc.). If I was aware of all of these things I wouldn't have moved into this complex, I am warning you all, and suggest you explore other options before signing on the dotted line. Update (10/1/2017): Despite the response from the property manager below, I have made several attempts to contact the office. Since September 1st, 2017, I have emailed the office four times and called several more, but have been unable to discuss all this issues with the property. I would like to emphasize what I said previously, once you sign on the dotted line and move in, you will no longer become a priority to the office, unless you're renewing your lease. I truly regret moving into this complex, it has been my worst living experience by far! I truly urge you to continue to search for new complexes. Update (11/1/2017) In the month of October I decided to let the previous issues with the apartment and space go after being unable to actually ever have contact with a staff member. However in late October the A.C. Unit in my space broke. I submitted a request for it to be fixed. It took around a week for them to take action on that ticket. Unfortunately, they simply came and looked at the unit and never repaired it. Going on two weeks with no A.C., currently have a second ticket in, but in the meantime I will need to function without A.C. If you believe that management will compensate me for the inconvenience, you are truly mistaken. The most I will receive is a formal apology... I would truly review your other options and think about everything I have said before you sign a new lease for this complex.

DO NOT attempt to get a mortgage from these incompetent individuals at the Pembroke Pines branch, or any for that matter. A total and absolute waste of time and energy. After this experience, I've closed all my Wells Fargo accounts and moved the money elsewhere. They have complete disregard for your investment interest. They outright lie and deceive which is why the brand has an extreme negative perception worldwide.

  • I worked with Camille Olinto. My husband and I purchased our first home through her and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out. Camille is such a great person and she helped us so much that we could never thank her enough. She made the buying process (which we were warned would be a nightmare) such a dream, considering we had Hurricane Irma in the middle of the process. She was always on top of things and she was extremely organized. I honesty think that we wouldn't have found our house had we not used her. I would HIGHLY recommend her.
